Ranch Market — Customer Questionnaire

An in-store solution for Ranch Market that records customer choices and feedback at the point of service — a Java touchscreen kiosk on industrial in-store hardware, backed by a web administration, dashboards, and reporting.

Challenge

Ranch Market needed a practical way to collect customer-satisfaction feedback across specific in-store service areas. The process had to be effortless for shoppers at a physical device, while giving the business a structured backend for managing questionnaires and reviewing results.

It needed to support multiple service contexts — cashier, customer service, fresh-food sections — and store-level reporting, running reliably on dedicated in-store hardware.

Solution

konsep designed and developed a two-part solution: a customer-facing survey application running on a dedicated Java touchscreen kiosk (industrial in-store device), paired with a web backend for administration — rating and reason-based feedback capture, questionnaire management, store/device configuration, dashboards, reports, and exports.

The kiosk and backend communicated over an API, with per-device keys so each store/device could be configured and tracked.

Result

Ranch Market received a delivered customer-feedback solution — touchscreen survey kiosks in-store plus a web backend for reporting and administration — giving structured visibility into satisfaction across service areas.
