konsep.net Certified by TELKOMRisTI as a Software House

Sertifikat Software house_2005

In Bandung, TELKOMRisTI awarded certificates to 11 local software-house development partners. The certificates were presented by the head of TELKOMRisTI, Taufik Hasan, on Friday, 20 January 2006, to representatives of the 11 software houses — among them PT Konsep Dot Net, alongside PT Rapid Inovasi Teknologi, PT Informatika Lintas Nusa, PT Visitama Handal Perkasa, Kopegtel R&D Center, PT Jakarta Software Komunikasi, RICE (PT INTI), PT Abadi Tama Mitra, PT Eastern Technology Indonesia, PT Dwinet Utama, and PT Anabatic Technologies.

The head of TELKOMRisTI explained that the certification recognizes these local software-development partners and helps them meet the RisTI Software Engineering standard — covering requirements analysis, preliminary and detailed design, coding, unit testing, and integration and system testing — which in turn raises the quality of the software they produce. The certification follows a rigorous, repeatable assessment process with both technical and administrative requirements, including a site visit and a review of each company's track record.

Of 16 software houses that took part in the 2005 competency assessment, 11 passed (the rest awaited document completion); in 2004, 11 of 25 participants passed. TELKOMRisTI's partnership with local software houses began in 2000 through the Bandung Software Industry Project (ProBIS), part of its role as a research-and-development center building a community of software developers.
