Mosaiq Monitor on Nokia

Mosaiq Monitor is a solution from PT Konsep Dot Net for companies with large sales forces spread across Indonesia. It's already in use at several major pharmaceutical companies here.
At those companies, Mosaiq Monitor tracks sales-rep activity — for example, scheduled routine visits to medical professionals and facilities.
Mosaiq Monitor started as a web application; as mobile technology matured, we developed a mobile version. This isn't a mobile web app, but an app installed on the phone, so it runs more responsively. Reps only need to sync data when necessary (for instance, after finishing a visit), which also lightens the load on the server.
With the app, sales reps no longer have to come into the office every afternoon to enter their visit data — they can do it anywhere, anytime. That benefits the company too: data arrives faster, without waiting until the next day, so management can shape its marketing strategy more effectively. The time reps used to spend traveling to the office can go toward more useful work, like more visits, and the company can save by needing fewer office computers for data entry.
Mosaiq Monitor Mobile was built specifically for Nokia, given that Nokia had the largest share of phone users in Indonesia at the time — AdMob Mobile Metrics put Nokia at 52% of the Indonesian market in its 2010 report, which also noted that 91% of smartphones in Indonesia ran Symbian. Developing on Symbian was reasonably straightforward, too, thanks to ample learning resources.
