Grand Launch of www.idx.co.id

The Indonesia Stock Exchange has officially launched its new website, www.idx.co.id, following a soft launch in September. The grand launch coincided with the “Investor Summit and Capital Market Expo 2010,” themed “Capital Markets: Gateway to A Better Future,” held on 10–11 November 2010 at The Ritz-Carlton Pacific Place, Jakarta.

As the site's developer, konsep.net is proud and pleased with the result. The work took several intensive months, built on Microsoft technology and SQL Server. Even with the site officially live, we kept tuning and optimizing it to run smoothly.

Broadly, we improved the usability and performance of the IDX site, aiming to deliver clearer, more accurate information to market participants. Previously there were several separate IDX sites — a result of being developed in stages and of merging the old BES (Surabaya Stock Exchange) and BEJ (Jakarta Stock Exchange) sites.
